Current Availability: High school community involvement opportunities are currently available to students within York Region. Our program presently follows York Region school-board community involvement guidelines. Additional regions may be added as their requirements are reviewed.
Learn how students are contributing to real community issues through structured research, collaboration and problem-solving.
We'll provide you with a simple information package explaining the opportunity, supervision, activities, hour tracking and how the program aligns with community involvement requirements.
Once your school approves the activity, complete your registration with A Better Ontario and we'll get you started.
Students contribute to a focused community initiative connected to their school, with guidance, objectives and meaningful work to complete.
Your participation is documented, eligible hours are verified, and the appropriate completion information is provided.
